Vocal Support Training

Founding Research Cohort

Limited to 6 Singers

Have You Ever Wondered...

Why your voice feels different from one day to the next?

Why certain notes always create neck tension?

Why your jaw shifts when you sing specific vowels or pitches?

Why one shoulder seems lower than the other when you perform?

Why you lean, sway, or lose balance during difficult phrases?

Why support seems effortless some days and impossible on others?

Why you've spent years taking voice lessons but still feel like there is a missing piece?

You're not alone.

Many singers have been told to:

"Support more."

"Relax your jaw."

"Use more breath."

"Stay grounded."

"Don't push."

But very few singers are ever taught why those compensations happen in the first place.

What If Those Compensations Aren't Random?

At The Musical Athlete, we believe that many of the patterns singers experience may actually be clues.

A jaw shift.

A dropped shoulder.

A forward lean.

Neck tension.

Postural sway.

Difficulty maintaining balance while singing.

These may not simply be bad habits.

They may be the body's attempt to solve a support problem.

Rather than focusing only on the sound, we want to better understand what the body is doing, why it is doing it, and whether improving physical organization can lead to more consistent vocal performance.

Introducing The Musical Athlete Founding Research Cohort

The Musical Athlete Vocal Support Training System is an emerging body-voice training methodology designed to explore the relationship between physical organization and vocal performance.

This is not a traditional voice lesson program.

This is not a fitness program.

This is an 6-week guided research cohort for singers who want to better understand how their body influences their voice.

Together, we'll explore the physical patterns that may contribute to tension, inconsistency, fatigue, and breakdown under vocal demand.

Our Goal

Our goal is simple:

To help singers develop a more reliable, repeatable support strategy so they can sing with:

• Less tension

• Greater consistency

• Better endurance

• Improved vocal access

• Increased confidence under pressure

While also helping us better understand the relationship between the body and the voice.

The 6-Week Process

Week 1: Assessment & Discovery

We'll identify:

• Areas of tension and compensation

• Postural and movement patterns

• Range-specific challenges

• Breath and support limitations

• Potential physical contributors to vocal difficulty

You'll receive an individualized support warm-up and starting recommendations.

Weeks 2–5: Progressive Support Training

Through weekly sessions, experimentation, observation, and feedback, we'll begin building capacity and exploring how different body positions and vocal tasks influence performance.

We'll monitor:

• Tension

• Stability

• Vocal ease

• Range access

• Stamina

• Consistency

• Recovery

Week 6: Retesting & Results

We'll repeat key assessments and compare outcomes.

Together we'll evaluate:

• What changed

• What improved

• What questions remain

• What your next steps should be

Founding Cohort Investment

The investment for the 6-Week Founding Research Cohort is $250.

This represents a highly discounted founding-member rate and is available only to participants in this inaugural cohort.

As a founding participant, you'll receive direct access to the creators of The Musical Athlete methodology, personalized feedback throughout the program, and the opportunity to help shape an emerging approach to vocal support training.

Future cohorts will be offered at standard program pricing and will not include the same level of direct involvement in the development process.

Because of the personalized nature of the program, enrollment is limited to six singers.
